Our little helpers

We practiced our drying skills with cups and dishes and this proved to be a very popular activity with some of the children insisting on doing more!

The Children learned how to hand wash napkins by scrubbing them in soapy water, rinsing them in clear water, ringing them and hanging them to dry

Picked up rubbish or falling leaves and sweep the floor was an exciting and easy task for the young ones.

Cooking class at Noah's club

Cooking class always be one of our children's favorite time at Noah's club, even with our Toddlers' group.  They love the opportunity to create their own snack. It’s never too early to bring kids into the kitchen, and for all the points you raised. The sensory experiences are so rich. We love how much our children can learn in the kitchen too, such as mixing, cutting, stiring, whisking, scooping and pouring and chopping and rolling.... It’s all wonderful and builds a familiarity with the kitchen from the beginning.

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY - NOVEMBER 20th

Vietnamese Teacher’s Day (November 20) has long been a special day for people to express the tradition of “Respecting the teacher and treasuring the morality”, honour the teachers who teach the students knowledge and proper behaviour ...
The forthcoming Vietnamese Teacher’s Day is an occasion for students to show their affection to those who always impart knowledge and educate them with all their heart. This day has become an annual festive day of teachers across the country. Vietnamese Teacher’s Day is not only the day for students who are studying in the school express their gratitude to their teachers, but also a good occasion for each people to meditate and recall unforgettable memories which thay have ever had with their beloved teachers. In many schools, activities with various programs to celebrate Vietnamese Teacher’s Day have been planned in early October.
The tradition of “Respecting the teacher and treasuring the morality” has been originated for long time and preserved until now. November 20 is the special day for people to show their love and respect to the teachers. Therefore, when this day is coming, all people who used to be students think of their teachers with their sincere love and respect. Beautiful flowers and meaningful postcards have been prepared to offer the beloved teachers. Vietnamese Teacher’s Day is considered as an annual festive day of all Vietnamese people who have ever been students.

Gardening for children at Noah's club

We were delighted this month to welcome Tanya & Maggie from ‘Green House Collective Group’ and their twice weekly lessons on planting. Looking after the plants has gone down a treat with the Children who are very enthusiastic little gardeners!

In the beginning, we learned how to mix different soils together to make a nurturing soil for our plants to grow.
Sun, Water and Lots of love; that’s what our plants need!

Our ‘growing journals’ give us a chance to monitor our plants growth each week, especially since we’ve been watering them every day and want to make sure all our hard work is paying off

We watched a great cartoon on how to make compost and talked about which elements on the ground are dead or alive and which are good for our soil and which are bad.

The last day of this class, we harvested a bunch of mustard greens!
